“Sonning on the Thames” by Claude Walker, an excellent specimen of the careful finish bestowed on his work by the artist. The Victoria &Albert Museum has accepted a piece by Mr. Walker for the National Collection. Her Majesty the Queen chose Mr. Walker’s picture of her gardens for her purchase at the Royal Institute Galleries. Mr. Walker is a living artist & will doubtless achieve many more distinctions.
